The Norwegian mountains and the North Sea also mean that you can experience the biggest contrasts in terms of the weather here. When the sun shines up here, you will need to put suncream on and when the wind blows you will need your hat and glasses. And sand between your teeth – you will just have to get used to it, if you are here to experience the incredible spring and autumn storms, which every year eat away at the coast, causing houses to fall into the sea.

When you have seen a fishing boat fight its way back to port in a storm, you will agree that such a sight cannot be experienced in many places other than northern Denmark. Finally, you can also experience the fantastic light that our region is so famous for, not to mention the wonderful sunsets in the horizon, an experience which is pure medicine for the soul. And remember, there is no such thing as bad weather, only wrong clothing!!!
