School Holidays in Denmark

When planning a visit to Denmark, it may be useful to know when the Danes themselves take their holiday.

The school summer holiday starts reletively early in Denmark, but due to self-governing rules in the various municipalities, only the starting date is common to all schools. The school summer holiday is usually 7 or 8 weeks.
