Vigsø Bugt Feriecenter is located in a sheltered spot east of Hanstholm and has a wonderful view of the North Sea. Here in the north-western corner of Denmark, the nature is raw, but stunningly beautiful.
The view stretches as far as the eye can see and you certainly hear when the North Sea calls. Listen to the roar of the North Sea or the “sound of stillness” when the sun sets. Or hear who can produce the loudest echo in the bunkers strewn between the dunes and the lyme grass.

Have you heard about the Green Flash? It is an optical phenomenon which on rare occasions can be seen at sunset or sunrise on an unbroken horizon over the North Sea. The phenomenon is very brief - and often lasts less than one second. According to legend, those who see the flash of green together will also spend the rest of their lives together.

Otherwise, we promise that a holiday at the North Sea coast will sparkle in the sun. It is difficult not to get lost in your own thoughts on the beach when gazing at the view or at the kids collecting stones. The most attractive stones can decorate the window sill just as they are, or can be imaginatively painted in “Troppeshoppen”.

If you wish to go for a dip in the North Sea, we recommend that you wear sandals to protect sensitive feet against the small stones – although it would not be any wonder if our subtropical leisure pool complex didn’t provide the greatest draw. Regardless of whether your energy is spent in the leisure pool complex or in Thy's bracing sea air, a good night's sleep is guaranteed.
