In Denmark, folk high school is traditionally about being together, professional and personal development and – not least – a lot of good experiences!
You’ll meet new friends and get inspiration in many ways; through the classes, the discussions, personal conversations, singing, music, body and exercise, field trips et cetera.

Whether short or long, a stay at a folk high school offers new inspiration and new energy, and often you’ll not feel it until you’re home again. Usually, the short 1 or 2-week-courses are chosen by mature learners, while young people and people who are at a crossroads in their lives choose the long courses which focus on general academic and preparatory subjects. Some people come alone; others come in groups, with family, spouse, friends or colleagues.

Short courses including board and lodging are typically DDK 2650,- a week. In North Jutland there are a number of folk high schools which offer a broad variety of short, middle-range and long courses. You can choose between creative subjects, art, song and music, nature, exercise and lots of other things.
