Denmark is known as ”the golfer’s best kept secret”. Perhaps because of the relaxed, informal and stress-free Danish golfing tradition. There is plenty of room for green-fee guests all year round; there are cosy family courses, challenging championship courses, well-maintained park courses, fresh coastal courses and let’s not forget the after-golf chat in the clubhouse. If the rest of the family doesn’t share your interest, other attractions are never far away.

Adrenaline is pumping in your veins and sweat is dripping from your forehead as you fight your way to the top of one of the many climbing walls to be found dotted around North Jutland. Climbing is an activity that demands willpower and technique. Test your ability to climb vertical and inclined walls. Abseilers move in the opposite direction to climbers. With the help of a harness, ropes, a helmet etc. the abseiler can make his way down "anything".

Every year approximately 450 private and public gardens open their gates for visitors. Some are open all year round, others perhaps for no longer than a solitary weekend. In any event you can expect a wealth of exciting discoveries and meet inspiring gardening types. There are gardens in all the recognised garden styles, just as all types of plant are represented, roses, grasses, fuchsia, bulbs and plants from alkaline soils to name but a few. Information concerning the opening hours of Danish gardens is available, (in Danish) from the website of The Danish Gardening Association, (Det danske Haveselskab) and the nearest tourist office will be happy to inform you of the opening hours of local gardens.
