September 4th, 2010: Limfjordskrydseren (Swimming across the Limfjord), Aalborg
Many people have dreamed of swimming across the Limfjord.
Under normal circumstances, it is neither safe nor is it allowed, but Limfjordskrydseren makes it possible for you to get this unique experience. In order to be able to participate, you have to be 16 years of age and in good health.
Furthermore you have to pass a 1.000 meter test before August 30th, 2010.

The Fjord Marathon is for everyone – and with 5 different combinations of distance, you can challenge and develop your potential from one year to the next. All routes offer beautiful paths, whereof many are free of cars and have a view of the Limfjord. Run across the Limfjord Bridge and enjoy the scenic areas. All routes will be measured and approved by Dansk Atletik Forbund (The Danish Athletic Society) and are thus approved for setting a record.

The distance consists of 3 events: 375 meters of swimming, 18 kilometres of bike racing and 4.2 kilometres of running. The race starts Saturday at 10.00 – Participants can sign up from 9.00. Price for participation: DKK 50 under 18 years of age, DKK 100 over 18 years of age.

September 25th, 2010: Day of Geology and Guideline for the best part of nature on Mors
Join us from 13-15 and participate in the active diatomite (in Danish “moler”) trench by Skarrehage. Get an idea of why the diatomite has been included in the Danish Guideline for the best parts of nature. We also have to look for fossils in the 55 million year old layers. The findings will be studied closely at the Moler Museum.

In the area west of the museum we have once again arranged the Day of the Icelandic Horse from 10-16, where enthusiastic horse people, who care especially for the Icelandic horse, meet and spend time together. For this particular day we have worked out an exciting program containing a horse show and competitions for the children.

September 30th, 2010: Steak, roars and Bordeaux, Frederikshavn
We start the evening by having coffee in Skovhuset and continue on to Dyrehaven, where we try to get close to the deer. We will try to get close to these magnificent animals around dusk, since the animals are mostly active around that time. Afterwards we head back to the bonfire at Skovhuset and enjoy a delicious red deer buffet with wine and finish off with coffee and cognac.
